About The Position

C3 Trucking is seeking CDL A Local Drivers for an Intermodal Account. Drivers will be home daily, working Monday through Friday with a start time of 1:00 PM. This is a 100% no-touch freight position. Drivers will go to Chicago rail yards daily. There is a potential option to transfer to a more desirable shift after 6 months. Requirements

• Valid CDL A license.
• Minimum 3 months of experience with a 53-foot trailer.
• Clean MVR.
• Clean background.
• No SAP drivers.
• Must be able to pass a hair and urine drug test.
• Must live within 35 miles of Racine, WI.
• Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire (account will reimburse if obtained after hire with proper paperwork).

Responsibilities

• Drive a 53-foot trailer to and from Chicago rail yards daily.
• Perform live loads and drop & hook at customer locations.
• Handle empty moves and crosstown drops.
• Manage rail delays and wait times.
• Complete ramp specific training after orientation.

Benefits

• Home daily
• Monday - Friday schedule
• New drivers start at $0.48 CPM with annual increases up to $0.55 CPM
• $65 for live load by customer
• $40 for drop & hook at customer
• $25 extra per Hazmat load
• $30 extra per Refrigerated load
• $15 for any empty move
• $23 - $55 for crosstown drop
• $20/hr of rail delay (after 1 hour wait)
• $20/hr after 1.5 hour wait, then $25/hr after the 1st hour
• Training pay of $250 per day for at least 5 full days
• $1500 average weekly pay
• $5000 sign-on bonus
