About The Position
Building Products Inc. is seeking a professional CDL Driver for dependable, assigned regional routes serving routine customers and dealer partners. The position offers a structured Monday–Friday schedule, daily home time, and low-touch freight deliveries. Drivers work independently and may earn monthly performance-based bonuses tied to clean roadside or D.O.T. inspections, accident-free driving, and accurate delivery pictures and signatures.
Requirements
- Valid Class-A CDL license.
- Understand safety requirements at every stage of the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to climb in and out of a semi-tractor/trailer up to 20 times per day.
- Full use of arms and shoulders to open trailer curtains.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with taking pictures and obtaining signatures to complete deliveries.
- Log trip and load-weight information daily.
- Clean the truck and equipment and keep them in good working order.
- Monitor road conditions and traffic to ensure safe trips.
