About The Position

Cirba Solutions is a battery recycling and materials processing company focused on contributing to the circular economy. The CDL-A Driver transports and/or packages batteries, electronic scrap, and other materials in accordance with Department of Transportation specifications. The position requires a current Commercial Driver’s License with a HazMat endorsement and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This is a local driving role, with drivers home every night.

Requirements

No more than 2 moving violations in the previous 5 years.
At least 25 years old.
Must have driven within the last 3 years.
High school diploma or GED.
Recent 5 years of Class A tractor-trailer driving experience.
HazMat endorsement.
Experience loading and unloading trucks using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Current CDL-A with medical certification.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver supplies and/or materials.
Load and secure materials using company equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Pick up batteries and other materials for recycling, including hazardous materials.
Keep supplies stocked in the vehicle.
Unload materials.
Fuel the vehicle.
Keep up with routine vehicle maintenance.
Keep the vehicle clean and organized inside and out, and wash it regularly.
Advise management of vehicle issues.
Meet annual vehicle inspection requirements.
Complete bills of lading and ensure they match shipments, adjusting quantities, weights, or materials as required.
Ensure the shipper or receiver signs the bill of lading.
Complete daily vehicle inspection reports and the driver's daily log as required.
Complete expense reports as needed.
Provide annual reports regarding driving record and medical certification.
Review the Driver’s Record book annually with management.
Listen to and resolve customer issues, advising management of them.
Perform other duties as assigned.
