About The Position
Join a dedicated local delivery operation serving stores throughout the Sacramento and Bay Area. Drivers pick up preloaded freight, deliver it to stores, and return to Sacramento. Daily routes are designed to allow drivers to return home every day and be home for the next day. The role offers predictable routes and consistent start times, with account-specific support staff and flexibility with routes and time off subject to account needs. Average earnings are $1,500 per week. Starting pay is based on experience and ranges from $25.00 per hour for 0 years of experience to $28.50 per hour for 10 years of experience. Some drivers are reported to gross over $2,000 per week, but this is not guaranteed. Start times are very early, typically between midnight and 3:00 AM. Both day and night shifts are listed. Weekend and holiday work is required, and days off fall during the weekdays. The schedule is provided the day before. Deliveries involve live unloads with unload assistance. Drivers use automatic-transmission equipment and refrigerated trailers.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A.
- Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Experienced, first-seat drivers only.
- Must live within 30 miles of ZIP code 95837.
- Must be available for early morning starts, weekends, and holidays.
- Solo drivers only; teams are not accepted.
- Owner-operators are not accepted.
Responsibilities
