About The Position

Universal Intermodal services all major U.S. ports and intermodal rail ramps, providing door-to-door drayage for imports, exports, and domestic freight. With operations across 40 terminals and multiple container yards, we offer consistent freight and long-term career opportunities. We are currently seeking Home Daily CDL-A Drivers out of our Newark, NJ terminal.
Requirements
- Class A CDL required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last year
Nice To Haves
- Port experience preferred but not required
- TWIC card preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide door-to-door drayage for imports, exports, and domestic freight.
- Operate within major U.S. ports and intermodal rail ramps.
- Adhere to a Monday-Friday schedule with optional Saturdays.
- Work day shifts with start times between 5-7 AM, working 10-12 hour days.
