About The Position

The CDL-A Intermodal Driver works in a dedicated local intermodal operation in the Columbus, Ohio area. The role pays $1,100–$1,400 per week, with home time daily and no-touch, all-ramp freight. Drivers haul intermodal containers and handle approximately three loads per day. Freight may be preloaded, drop-and-hook, live-load, or live-unload. Routes may cover Lockbourne, Toledo, and Cincinnati, and drivers must be willing to cover assigned markets as required. Drivers must be prepared to drive in winter conditions. Pay is $0.61 per mile, with an additional $40 for loaded miles under 99 miles and $40 per revenue load. Pay is issued weekly. Schedules are Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday, with consistent freight and schedules based on operational needs. Holiday work is voluntary.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL.
At least 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
Must be at least 22 years old.
No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions.
No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years.
Must meet DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements.
Must be willing to cover assigned markets.
Must be comfortable driving in winter weather.
Must meet English-language requirements for safe driving, communication, and required documentation.
Clean driving record.
Valid DOT Medical Card.
No SAP drivers.
Additional qualifications may apply.
