CDL-A Intermodal Driver – Home Daily | Day or Night Shift
About The Position
Join a local intermodal operation serving the San Antonio and Laredo, Texas areas. Drivers handle rail freight with a mix of drop-and-hook, live load/unload, and preloaded moves while enjoying daily home time and two consecutive days off each week. This role involves local intermodal routes in and out of rail facilities, with freight moving between the San Antonio and Laredo areas, covering approximately 1,000 miles per week. Drivers will work with rail equipment and benefit from a static schedule with strong 24/7 leadership support, though freight and customer needs may require schedule adjustments.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of CDL-A experience
- First-seat/solo driving experience
- Clean driving record
- DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Ability to work with rail and intermodal equipment
