We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our established team. The ideal candidate will either hold, or be able to obtain, Hazardous Materials (H) or Hazmat + Tanker (X) endorsement. This role offers a rotating schedule consisting of both regional (typically 1 night out) and cross-country (4-12 nights out) routes to our distribution centers in Missouri, Texas, and Nevada. Drivers return home regularly throughout each rotation, with substantial scheduled time off between assignments.

Requirements

  • Clean driving record
  • Current Class A CDL (with current or obtainable Hazmat [H] or [X] endorsement)
  • 2+ years proven experience operating similar equipment preferred
  • Ability to drive long distances and be on the road up to two weeks
  • Medical Certificate and ability to pass a DOT physical exam
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Strong knowledge of FMCSA safety regulations
  • Comfortable using GPS, ELD, and related technology
  • Sufficient physical fitness, hand-eye coordination, vision, and hearing acuity to perform essential duties

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate assigned truck to regional and cross-country destinations
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with dispatch
  • Plan routes, meet delivery schedules, and comply with all traffic laws and regulations (local, state, federal)
  • Secure, arrange, and balance cargo appropriately
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections; report and address defects, mechanical issues, or safety concerns
  • Maintain accurate Electronic Log Device (ELD) records and other required documentation
  • Conduct daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, routine checks)
  • Load and unload freight using forklifts or pallet jacks as needed
  • Interact professionally with customers at pickup and delivery locations
  • Comply with FMCSA random drug and alcohol testing requirements
