About The Position
A fuel truck driver is responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle specialized to carry flammable liquids. We transport various materials to and from designated locations, mainly to fuel our equipment.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements
- Minimum 2 years Class A driving experience
- At least 6 months liquid tanker experience (within the last 3 years)
- Ability to pass: Pre-employment driving test, DOT physical, Drug & alcohol screening
Responsibilities
- Completes accurate pre, and post trip inspections
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.
- Loads and unload materials from the tanker truck using appropriate equipment
- Maintains truck logs according to state and federal regulations
- Maintains accurate driver logs of deliveries, mileage, and hours of service
- Adheres to company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance
- Cleans truck exterior and interior
