About The Position

This regional fleet hires Class A drivers from southeast Georgia, trains new ones on the road, and keeps the freight in the eastern part of the country. If your CDL is brand new, you begin by riding with an experienced trainer on real loads, paid every single week. When you finish, you move right into your own truck at full pay, and for your first 3 months solo you are guaranteed at least $1,000 a week. This role offers consistent work, dry van freight with drop and hook, live loads, some preloads, and occasional load assist with a pallet jack. Drivers can expect to be home every 2 weeks.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Completed 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school, OR have 6 months OTR in the last 12 months OR 12 months within the last 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No major preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 to 10 years.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to pass hair and urine drug testing.
• Live within 200 miles of Statesboro, GA.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class A CDL truck regionally within the eastern part of the country.
• Transport a variety of dry van freight across different customers.
• Perform drop and hook, live loads, and occasional load assist with a pallet jack.
• Complete assigned routes and maintain a consistent weekly mileage of 1,800 to 2,300 miles.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and management.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Spend time with family every 2 weeks.
