About The Position

Class A drivers around Savannah: $1,600 a week, freight you never touch, and home time you pick. Experienced drivers ask the same few questions before they apply. Here are the straight answers. OTR lanes in all 48 states, with most freight east of I-35. About 2,000 miles a week, planned ahead, with day and night dispatch. You decide when you are home. Drivers who want the most miles usually run about 12 days out and 2 days home. Want it different? Tell your planner. You will drive an assigned 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth, with 24/7 dispatch behind you.

Requirements

• Class A CDL from your state of residence
• 21 or older
• Recent, verifiable CDL-A over-the-road experience
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 years
• Must pass DOT physical and a hair and urine drug screen

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth trucks
• Ability to communicate effectively with dispatch and planners

Responsibilities

• Drive OTR lanes in all 48 states, with most freight east of I-35.
• Plan routes and manage driving schedule to ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate with dispatch and planners regarding route adjustments and home time preferences.
• Operate and maintain assigned company vehicle.
