About The Position

This semi-local CDL-A driver position is for solo drivers. The lane runs to AZ, CA, CO, KS, NM, SD, TX, UT, and WY. Drivers will be working with dry van and reefers. Drivers must be physically fit to move pallets with electric pallet jacks, chain when needed (around 6-87 times per year), and be comfortable running mountain routes.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license.
• Physically fit to move pallets with electric pallet jacks.
• Comfortable running mountain routes.
• Ability to chain tires when needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive a semi-local route covering AZ, CA, CO, KS, NM, SD, TX, UT, and WY.
• Operate dry van and reefer trailers.
• Move pallets with electric pallet jacks.
• Chain tires when needed (approximately 6-87 times per year).
• Comfortably run mountain routes.
• Work 5 consecutive days with 2 days off.
• Drive at least one weekend day per week.
• Be on layover 2-3 nights per week.
