About The Position

This regional CDL-A driving role is open to entry-level and experienced drivers. New drivers complete 4 to 6 weeks of on-road training with an experienced driver trainer, receive $850 per week during training, and receive their own truck after sign-off. Solo drivers are guaranteed $1,000 per week for their first three months. The regional freight area includes Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and the Midwest, with varied customers and steady freight. Drivers are home every two weeks, often sooner, and run approximately 1,700 to 2,000 miles per week. Average weekly gross pay is $1,100 to $1,400, with mileage pay based on experience, $15 stop pay, and a performance bonus plan. Medical, dental, and vision coverage begin after 30 days. The company also offers a 401(k) with company match and paid time off. Orientation pay is $300, and travel to orientation is covered. Riders and pets are allowed after training is completed. Requirements

Hold a valid Class A CDL.
Be at least 21 years old.
New drivers must have at least 120 hours from an accredited CDL school.
Experienced drivers must have 6 months of OTR experience in the last 12 months, or 12 or more months in the past 5 years.
Have no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years and no major preventable accidents in 5 years.
Pass hair and urine drug testing and a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

Complete 4 to 6 weeks of on-road training with an experienced driver trainer if entering as a new driver.
Drive regional freight through Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and the Midwest.
Transport freight for different customers and run approximately 1,700 to 2,000 miles per week.
