About The Position

Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring a CDL-A Driver for their Trench Safety Division. This role involves transporting trench and shoring equipment to customer job sites using various trucks, as well as performing equipment assembly, testing, inspection, power washing, and inventory control. The driver will also be responsible for maintaining customer relations and contributing to a team environment. Sunstate emphasizes safety and a positive work culture, offering opportunities for growth and development.

Requirements

• Class A CDL License
• DOT Medical Card
• Flatbed experience
• Loading/unloading experience
• Physical exertion required, including walking, standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 90 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Equipment Rental experience
• NCCCO certification
• TWIC card

Responsibilities

• Transporting Trench and MAP shoring to and from customer job sites using various trucks (knuckle boom flat bed, semi, and trailer trucks).
• Assembly, testing, and inspection of equipment.
• Power washing equipment.
• Inventory control.
• Various yard duties.
• Maintain customer relations by consistently being courteous, professional and helpful.
• Act as an extension of sales.
• Be a team player, willing to jump in and join the team.
• Drive a truck with a Knuckle boom crane attached.
