About The Position

Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS), a division of Pacific Northern Environmental LLC, is seeking a CDL Class A or B Driver. CCS provides industrial cleaning and spill response to pulp and paper mills, major oil companies, and various manufacturing and industrial clients in the Pacific Northwest. The company has a proven track record of handling large and complex industrial cleaning challenges efficiently and safely. This role involves transporting hazardous materials and requires hands-on work with the field team.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
18 years of age or older.
Valid Driver’s License.
Valid Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement.
2-3 years’ experience driving DOT regulated vehicles.
Must be able to move work-related equipment up to 50lbs.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
Must be able to operate various technological devices, including a computer.
Must be able to operate machinery in compliance with all safety procedures.
Must be able to occasionally ascend/descend ladders and/or stairs.

Nice To Haves

Hazmat endorsement is preferred.
Experience driving Hazmat materials is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Transport hazmat or other materials from job sites to safe disposal locations.
Operate truck controls to engage, move, and reposition vacuum hoses.
Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, complying with traffic laws and company policies.
Drive in accordance with all company safety policies and regulations.
Complete DOT required pre and post trip inspections and necessary paperwork.
Operate a box van with a lift gate for pick-up and delivery of drums.
Operate truck according to dispatch or supervisor instructions.
Load, unload, and set up vacuum hoses at job sites.
Report all accidents and injuries and complete accident report forms.
Ensure all loads are properly secured before driving and maintain safety while driving.
Perform other duties as assigned.
