About The Position

Intonu, a leading metals recycling company in the Southeastern United States, is expanding to Warner Robins and seeking a Class A CDL Local Driver. This position involves local and semi-regional driving, primarily within a 150-200 mile radius, with drivers typically returning home each day. The role requires experience with end dump or roll-off trailers, as well as other trailer types including van, gondola, flatbed, and intermodal containers. Intonu participates in E-Verify and requires all drivers to adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards. Requirements

Class A CDL
Minimum of 2 years driving tractor trailer.
Heavy hauling experience
Clean MVR, PSP and Clearinghouse
Must be able to operate electronic devices, text, email, ELD, DVIRS all electronically using cell phone and Samsara app.

Responsibilities

Accepts dispatch and safely drives loads to accomplish deliveries.
Class A CDL driver.
Abide by all state and local DOT commercial driver regulations and recommendations.
Abide by all instructions outlined in truck and trailer operation manuals.
Perform visual pre trip and post trip inspections as described by approved DOT checklists on trucks and related trailers.
Follow all procedures specific to Intonu transportation department.
Must be on time to work.
Courteous to customer.
Ensure all safety measures are taken while at the company site, customers site and on the road.
Must be able to operate electronic devices, text, email, ELD, DVIRS all electronically using cell phone and Samsara app.
