Requirements

A valid Commercial Driver’s license.
Minimum 3 years licensed and on the road.
Clear Abstract/MVR report.
Flexibility to start between the hours of 4:00 am and 7:00 am.

Responsibilities

Operate a tractor trailer; potentially straight truck as needed.
Ongoing and continuous learning and development; including forklift certification.
Comply with applicable legislation including safety operation, carriage of goods, driver’s hours, occupational health and safety, and applicable traffic laws.
Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspection to ensure mechanical, safety and emergency equipment meets our rigorous safety standards.
Maintain daily logs, inspection logs and other necessary driver compliance documentation.
Fill reports such as driver logs, inspection reports (pre-trip, enroute, post-trip), maintenance and repair reports, and incident reports.
Perform all aspects of truck and trailer load securement.
Physically capable of opening and closing curtains on the trailer.
Safely load and unload premium quality wood products for our customers.
May be required to operate a forklift and/or Moffett.
Safely lift material up to 75 pounds.
Provide excellent customer experience.
Other duties as assigned.
