About The Position

Wolverine Trucking is seeking logistic professionals for a local route in Buffalo, NY. Drivers will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer truck to transport bulk sand material to various locations. The schedule is a night shift from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with the ability to be home after every shift. The position offers steady, year-round work, weekly pay, and a $1,500 sign-on bonus. Drivers will also be responsible for tracking and documenting activity logs, performing routine vehicle inspections, and reporting any issues to the operations manager.

Requirements

• Commercial driver's license (Class A) is mandatory.
• Must be able to perform routine inspection of the vehicle.
• Acceptable drivers abstract.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong work ethic.
• Communicate effectively.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one-year truck driving experience under CDL A license preferred.
• Experience with sand box hauling is preferred.
• Ability to drive tractor-trailer on multiple routes.
• Flexibility to work weekends an asset.
