About The Position

Wolverine Trucking is seeking experienced CDL A Drivers for a local route in Buffalo, NY. This position offers steady, year-round work with the ability to be home after every shift. Drivers will be responsible for transporting bulk sand to various locations for both internal and external customers, ensuring they are constantly busy. The available schedule is a night shift, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Requirements

• Commercial driver's license (Class A) is mandatory.
• Must be able to perform routine inspection of the vehicle.
• Acceptable drivers abstract.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong work ethic.
• Communicate effectively.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one-year truck driving experience under CDL A license preferred.
• Experience with sand box hauling is preferred.
• Ability to drive tractor-trailer on multiple routes.
• Flexibility to work weekends an asset.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck.
• Haul various bulk sand material.
• Properly track and document activity log.
• Inspect truck before and after trip.
• Report any issues or incidents to operations manager.
