About The Position

This position involves safely driving a commercial motor vehicle (tractor and trailer) and ensuring timely deliveries to customers. The driver will be responsible for adhering to all safety policies and procedures, working effectively both independently and as part of a team, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a commitment to maintaining a positive and respectful work environment and understanding the importance of on-time deliveries for the company's success.

Requirements

  • 24 months experience driving a tractor trailer in the past 5 years
  • Valid Class A CDL, with a current DOT medical card
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Pass a road test
  • Acceptable driving record per policy
  • Acceptable responses to previous Employment Verifications
  • Pass a background check, and pre-employment tests
  • Safe driving record and continuous dedication to upholding high safety standards
  • Working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Maintain all DOT required licenses and documentation
  • Able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs. for touch freight positions
  • Adhere to DOT Rules and Regulations
  • Operate in a constant state of alertness, and safe manner
  • Safely get in and out of the cab on your own
  • Execute on-time pickup and deliveries
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards on and off the road
  • Interact in a positive and a professional manner with general public while delivering products to locations

  • Complete deliveries on schedule and interface with customers effectively
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same
  • Work cooperatively and productively with supervisors and other associates to complete tasks
  • Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner
  • Perform and document pre and post trip inspections and complete all necessary paperwork
  • All other duties as assigned
