About The Position

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for a Yard Jockey Combo at its Chicago, Illinois Service Center. The position unloads and loads trailers and hosts trailers on the yard. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, with various shifts, and pays $33.66 per hour. Paid sick leave is available after the first 30 calendar days of employment, and paid leave is available after the first 90 calendar days. Requirements

• CDL-A certification.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read and interact with a computer display.

Nice To Haves

• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced LTL environment is preferred.
• Previous yard hostling experience in a fast-paced environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trailers.
• Hostler trailers on the yard.
