About The Position

This position is for a CDL-A Driver Trainer/Mentor responsible for training the next generation of drivers. Mentors are compensated for every mile the truck drives, including both their own miles and their student's miles. The typical Over-The-Road (OTR) mentor run lasts 11 days, followed by significant home time. Compensation includes a base CPM, an additional CPM while training, a productivity bonus, and other mileage and safety bonuses. Mentors are also eligible for bonuses upon students completing safe mileage milestones, and an Elite Mentor program offers long-term earnings based on student success. Comprehensive mentor training is provided in Springdale, Arkansas, from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with hotel and lunch included, and a completion payment. Additional bonuses are awarded for student pickup and dispatch. The role ensures priority dispatch and consistent loads, supported by an online training checklist for structured mentoring.

Requirements

CDL-A license with clean driving record
Able to travel and work OTR
Professional attitude & desire to lead the next generation of drivers
3+ Months experience

Responsibilities

Train the next generation of drivers
Lead the next generation of drivers
Observe student driving on Day 1 of a run
Ensure student drives at least 5 hours per day on Days 2-11 of a run
Utilize the remaining 14-hour clock after student drives 5 hours to stack more miles
Take a week off or run solo between students (recommended)
