This position is for a CDL-A Driver Trainer/Mentor focused on training the next generation of drivers while maximizing personal earnings. Mentors are paid for every mile the truck drives, including both their own and their student's miles. The typical schedule involves Over-The-Road (OTR) runs of 11 days, followed by good home time. The training structure includes an observation day (Day 1) and subsequent days (Days 2-11) where the student must drive at least 5 hours daily. After the student's driving time, the mentor can utilize the remaining 14-hour clock to drive additional miles. It is recommended to take a week off or run solo between students. The role also includes participation in a top-tier mentor training program held in Arkansas, which is designed to develop confident and successful driver-trainers.
