About The Position

Laurel drivers operate in the eastern seaboard dry van sector, with loads that do not extend far west. The pay rate increases annually. New drivers will receive paid training with an experienced trainer and guaranteed weekly training pay, transitioning to full solo pay after training. Experienced drivers can bring riders and pets from day one, while new drivers can after completing training.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Brand new drivers: proof of 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• 2 moving violations or fewer in 2 years.
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years.
• Clean DUI/DWI history for 5 to 10 years, based on when you got your CDL.
• Able to pass a DOT physical plus hair and urine drug testing.
• Live within 200 miles of Mobile, AL.

Responsibilities

• Operate dry van loads up and down the eastern seaboard.
• Drive 2,000 to 2,500 miles a week.
• Be home every 2 weeks.
