About The Position

The primary duties of this role are to aid in the functions of Supply Chain. This includes order fulfillment and transportation of Artisanal Brewing Ventures products and materials.

Requirements

  • Retain a valid Class A CDL driver’s license
  • Retain a medical card
  • Physically capable of lifting 60 pounds and moving at least 165 pounds
  • Availability for early morning and day shift hours
  • Ability to safely operate electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Proficient using ELD logging devices, GPS, and any other necessary electronic devices
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and weekends when necessary
  • Frequently stand for the duration of the shift, walk, bend over, twist, kneel, climb, stoop and crouch.
  • This position requires the ability to routinely and repeatedly lift up to 55 pounds and maneuver 170 pounds repeatedly
  • Ability to use hands to perform fine manipulation, handle or feel, and must be able to reach with hands and arms
  • Selected candidate will be required to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background and driver's license check
  • Adherence to safety policies and procedures of the worksite
  • You must be at least 21 years of age

They are to conduct themselves within the limits of the law and with concern to the education of responsible consumption at all times. This includes working hours, trade shows, festivals and while entertaining in the name of the company or its affiliates. Any poor reflection or legal matters that may arise due to poor judgment may be dealt with by means of disciplinary action up to and including termination.

Responsibilities

  • Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned delivery vehicle to efficiently conduct deliveries of finished products and/or raw materials to internal/external customers
  • Ensure contents are properly secured inside of truck to prevent breakage or damage
  • Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip
  • Maintain detailed driving logs and accurate paperwork (BOL’s, Manifests)
  • Safely operate forklift trucks and other equipment to move, load, or stack packaged beer and raw materials
  • Support the Fulfillment Team by picking order and loading trucks as needed
  • Unload and check in inbound shipments as needed
  • Contribute to warehouse/equipment organization and cleanliness
