About The Position
We are seeking experienced CDL A Company Drivers for a dedicated account based out of Savannah, GA. This position offers weekly home time for a 34-hour reset. The role involves 100% touch freight, unloading box by box with rollers, and live unloading at stores. Drivers will cover FL, GA, SC, and AL, averaging 1100-1300 miles weekly. Tractors are Freightliners & Kenworth’s. The schedule requires nights, weekends, and holidays, with deliveries often occurring in the early morning, requiring drivers to arrive the night before or early morning.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 months solo driving tractor trailer OTR experience.
- Patience & strong customer service skills.
- Must have a secure parking location for both the truck & trailer.
- Must bring two weeks’ worth of supplies to orientation.
- Must pass a background check, MVR check, and hair & urine drug testing.
Responsibilities
- Physically unloading freight at stores, box by box with rollers.
- Performing live unloads at stores.
- Driving within the coverage area of FL, GA, SC, and AL.
- Meeting delivery times, which may require arriving the night before or early morning.
- Working nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
