Requirements

Valid CDL Class A (CDLA) license required
Clean driving record with a satisfactory MVR
Previous experience operating dump trucks, preferably in asphalt, paving, or construction
Working knowledge of DOT regulations and hours of service compliance
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight project deadlines
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious with a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

Operate a CDL Class A dump truck to transport and deliver asphalt and construction materials to job sites
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
Coordinate with crew leaders and site supervisors to ensure timely material delivery
Safely maneuver dump truck in tight job site conditions, including parking lots and commercial properties
Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip reports, and hours of service records
Monitor truck performance and report any mechanical issues promptly
Support asphalt paving crew as needed during downtime between hauls
