About The Position

We're looking for a relationship-focused professional who enjoys solving financial challenges, building partnerships, and supporting economic development. As the CD Specialist – CDC Finance, you'll work with business owners, lenders, and community partners to connect entrepreneurs with financing through specialized loan programs. This role combines financial analysis, business development, loan administration, and customer service to help local businesses succeed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Commercial lending and financial analysis
• Loan documentation and underwriting
• SBA and economic development lending programs
• Microsoft Office Suite and lending software preferred

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of experience in banking, finance, commercial lending, economic development, or a related field preferred
• Valid Indiana Driver's License
• Ability to obtain required SBA lending clearances

Responsibilities

• Assist business owners with financing solutions through specialized loan programs
• Build relationships with lenders, economic development partners, and community organizations
• Promote loan programs through outreach, networking, and presentations
• Review loan applications, financial statements, and supporting documentation
• Prepare loan recommendations, coordinate closings, and maintain loan files
• Assist with marketing initiatives, reporting, audits, and department operations
