About The Position

VectorUSA is seeking a Physical Security Technician with expertise in IP/CCTV Surveillance, Access Control Systems, and Intercom systems. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining sophisticated voice, data, and video networks. The technician will conduct routine preventive maintenance and repairs, manage system installations and upgrades, and diagnose and resolve network and equipment issues. Collaboration with team members and management is also a key aspect of the role.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in security system installations and maintenance.
  • Solid grasp of IP/CCTV, Access Control, and Intercom technologies.
  • Adept at reading and interpreting schematics and drawings.
  • Comprehensive understanding of network infrastructures and security equipment.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage projects effectively, meeting deadlines and adhering to budgets.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Demonstrated experience with security systems and equipment.
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation that’s able to accommodate a 6’ ladder.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and work in various physical environments.

Responsibilities
