Requirements

Strong technical skills and knowledge of all phases of security systems including Card Access, cameras, and intrusion systems.
Ability to read blueprints and specifications to produce accurate estimates.
Strong knowledge of manufacturers and products such as Genetec – Verkada – Axis.
Experience reading and understanding blueprints and system schematic diagrams.
Strong understanding of job material and labor forecasting.
Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
Minimum of 3 Years of experience estimating commercial access control systems and camera systems.

Nice To Haves

Experience estimating audio/video (AV).
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
BICSI and RCDD certification.

Responsibilities

Create accurate and competitive estimates and quotations for security systems projects.
Complete site walkthroughs and participate in pre-bid meetings to determine and document bid requirements and job site conditions.
Prepare estimates that meet project requirements and industry standards.
Develop bill of material, obtain distributor pricing, and calculate labor to produce estimates.
Detail scope of work based on designs and proposal specifications and coordinate with business development team to prepare comprehensive proposal materials.
Provide sales and technical staff with support on both a pre- and post-sales basis including attending project meetings and job sites as needed.
