This position is REMOTE and requires the candidate to live near Camden, NJ. The role operates during the day and requires availability 7 days a week. An initial in-person training period of 3-4 weeks in Camden, NJ is mandatory. The CCA Clinical/Admin Lead will provide remote and in-person Medical Assistant (MA) support, including taking vitals, assisting with patient questions, and ordering bloodwork scripts for clinicians. Responsibilities include maintaining the EHR database, patient registration, printing/uploading documents for visits, and ensuring patients complete necessary paperwork. Post-visit, the role involves scanning and uploading documents into the EHR. This is primarily a remote position but may require in-person presence based on departmental needs. The Clinical Administrative Lead manages all Cooper 365 phone inquiries and provides both remote check-in/out and MA services within the Cooper365 model. The role is critical for timely completion of all recertifications, referrals, and prior authorizations. It also involves processing record requests through MRO and handling new patient contracts and inquiries. The position requires 3-5 years of customer service experience, sound administrative judgment, innovation, and problem-solving skills, serving as the subject matter expert for Cooper 365 customer service and Primary Care Services. The role ensures access to care within the Cooper Integrated Specialist Network and acts as a liaison between clinicians and patients for check-in/out and appointment scheduling. It involves both clinical and administrative tasks, including assisting clinicians with patient care and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational duties. The role is responsible for processing and/or printing incoming faxes through OnBase/fax, routing them for signatures, and ensuring proper uploading into the chart. It provides information to patients to maximize their benefit from clinical services and maintains working knowledge of regulatory standards. Excellent time management, leadership aptitude, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are essential. Strong listening and communication skills, along with excellent escalation skills for handling customer complaints and assisting clinicians with patient escalations, are required. Experience with an EHR, computer skills, knowledge of patient scheduling, and scheduling templates are necessary. The ability to work independently, creatively problem-solve, and possess an MA certification are key. Compassion and the ability to establish effective relationships are important. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with hospital outpatient registration are required. This role supports Cooper 365 24/7 and requires flexibility for 12-hour shifts and holidays. The role involves providing customer service via phone, telehealth, or electronic communication with patients, referring offices, and team members. Work with clinicians and patients to schedule appointments. Requires efficient analytical skills and computer literacy. Strong medical terminology and EHR knowledge are essential. Acts as a liaison for clinicians and works directly with patients for scheduling, check-in/out, and administrative duties. Provides MA support including vital screening and requests. Responsible for maintaining EHR database, confirming appointments, printing documents, and ensuring patient completion. Resolves conflicts effectively and handles phone calls appropriately. Responsible for providing check-in/out and MA services. The Administrative Clinical Lead handles all Cooper 365 phone matters. ALL recertifications, referrals, and prior authorizations must be completed. Develops processes for efficient management and conflict resolution. Demonstrates leadership and team-building skills. Obtains and verifies patient information, entering it into the practice management system. Delivers an exceptional experience to patients, customers, and physicians/clinicians. Oversees scanning of documents, CDL physicals, and management of medication samples. Processes all new patient contracts and questions. Ensures paperwork alignment for consistent collections. Excellent escalation skills for handling customer complaints independently and assisting clinicians with patient escalations. All other duties as assigned.
