About The Position

L2 Defense is seeking an experienced CBRN Trainer/Development Specialist to evaluate, design, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive training and education programs in the field of expertise. This role involves planning, management, and delivery of various projects, assisting logistics teams with subject matter expertise, documenting system configurations, and developing processes for improved system maintenance. The successful candidate will support the company in the development, assessment, and manufacture of equipment systems for military end users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, technical training and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant training/development experience
  • Must possess a Secret security clearance, or qualify to secure
  • Graduate of the Instructor Training Course (ITC) or civilian equivalent (Waiver able, based on experience and board performance)
  • IFSAC/ProBoard certified HAZMAT Technician
  • Five (5) years’ experience, of which at least three years must be specialized. Specialized experience includes experience in developing and providing technical and end-user training

Responsibilities

  • Developing, implementing, and delivering tailored customer specific training programs, as well as revising, coordinating, and conducting existing training programs
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts, OJT Trainers, and Management to develop competency based, technical training programs
  • Conduct analysis on training products to ensure the developed materials are technically accurate and functional within known equipment constraints
  • Present technically sound instruction to a target audience
  • Familiarize and train military/civilian personnel on military and commercial detection, sampling, and decontamination equipment as well as all levels of PPE.
  • Conducts UAS, UGV, and Counter UAS Training
  • Prepare written reports
  • Review and update lesson plans and power point presentations
  • Provide oversight and subject matter expertise in support of field service operations
  • Work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to make products easier to use by: Planning, developing, organizing, and document operational procedures and manuals.
  • Working with internal teams to obtain an understanding of the documentation requirements
  • Reviewing Technical Manuals and Training Documents to ensure editorial and format consistency
  • Reviewing manuals and data to ensure editorial and format consistency
