About The Position

The CBRF RN Director provides a variety of services to the CBRF residents, assisting in ensuring regulatory compliance, quality standards, and safety. This role involves case management, health monitoring, coordination of physician care, and direct resident care as part of the care-giving team. The Director will delegate tasks to staff as needed, serve as a community liaison, and be involved in marketing endeavors. Maintaining positive relationships with family members and resident support systems is crucial. The position requires monitoring and maintaining resident records, reporting significant changes to physicians, and consulting with the Administrator/Executive Director. Flexibility is needed for the day-to-day management of an older adult population, including supervision and delegation of care tasks to Resident Assistants under DHS 83. Critical thinking is essential to ensure quality care in a community environment, with responsibilities including 24-hour emergency call coverage and coordination of care with multiple providers. Other duties may be requested and assigned.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license

Responsibilities

  • Provides case management services to CBRF residents.
  • Provides health monitoring of residents per policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates physician care for the CBRF residents.
  • Provides care to residents as part of the care-giving team.
  • Delegates tasks commensurate with training, supervision, observation and monitoring staff as needed to provide resident cares.
  • Serves as a community liaison for the CBRF'S.
  • Is involved in marketing endeavors, as needed.
  • Maintains positive relationships with family members and resident support systems.
  • Monitors and maintains records reflecting resident's physical and mental condition.
  • Reports significant changes to his or her physician.
  • Consults with Administrator/Executive Director as needed.
  • Supervises and delegates care tasks to Resident Assistant as directed under DHS 83.
  • Critically thinks through care interventions to ensure quality care in a community environment.
  • Provides 24-hour emergency call coverage.
  • Coordinates care with multiple providers.
  • Performs other duties as requested and assigned.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 (Based on Experience)
