This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records of Government Property throughout the acquisition and disposition process. The technician must adhere to all applicable Foreign Object Damage (FOO) prevention rules and regulations, including participation in FOO walk downs when directed. They are also responsible for adhering to the Company Tool Control Program and following Navy Logistics support procedures and FAR Part 45 for support material requirements. The role involves coordinating requirements submitted by material/supply personnel, providing interface among managers, cognizant field activity, and applicable to T/M/S. The technician will maintain and update aircraft data collection systems files using automated information systems such as NALCOMIS, Haystack, Fedlog, and SAP. They will conduct material research, maintain work center cleanliness, and ensure timely completion of supply-related documents. The role also requires ensuring the IPG 1 delivery time stays below an average of one hour and assisting supervisors with special projects. Continuous awareness of the supply effort in compliance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program, Company, and local maintenance instructions is essential. The position requires the ability to drive a truck with a 35 ft trailer and conduct meetings in support of the DEPOT customer. Compliance with all Company and Government policies pertaining to site operations and Division-specific policies is mandatory. Other duties as assigned.
