About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy is seeking a part-time classroom substitute to teach in a classical and Catholic classroom in Pelham, New Hampshire, for up to 13 hours per week. The academy is a national organization offering instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. Teaching certification and formal teaching experience are not required; training, curriculum, and grading guidelines are provided, and tutors are trained in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The position is hourly, and childcare/nursery is provided. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and have a deep love for the Catholic faith. The ideal applicant is living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received the sacraments appropriate to their state in life, and demonstrates strong communication skills, organization, timeliness, and a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship. All employees must pass a clear background check and complete RCA Safe Child training before teaching. Center hours are Mondays and Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. No additional vacation days are provided; accommodations are made for sick days as needed.

Requirements
