About The Position

Assists physicians with invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures. Maintains thorough knowledge of Cath Lab and EP equipment, including its maintenance, and administers direct and indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Provides direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RCIS program, or graduate of a recognized, accredited school of nursing, or graduate of an accredited respiratory, paramedic, imaging, or exercise physiology program.
• No experience is required for graduates of an RCIS program.
• One year of healthcare imaging, exercise physiology, paramedic, respiratory, or RN experience is required for candidates qualifying through those backgrounds.
• Candidates must hold the applicable license for their healthcare background upon hire. RCIS program graduates do not need a license but must obtain RCIS certification within two years.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required upon hire.
• ACLS certification is required upon hire.
