About The Position
Palestine Regional Medical Center in Palestine, TX, a 150-bed hospital, is seeking a Cath Lab Technician. The hospital has earned the Leapfrog “A” Safety Grade, the Platinum Award for quality from ScionHealth, and certification as a Chest Pain Center and Level IV Trauma facility. Requirements
- Possess a degree from an accredited school of Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology.
- Must hold a [United States] Radiologic Technologist and Technician license.
- ARRT or CVT certification.
- Texas State: TMB - Registered Technologist.
- BLS certification (within 3 months of hire).
- ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire).
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Previous Cath Lab experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide care and ensure the safety of patients undergoing procedures where radiation exposure is required for imaging studies.
- Ensure all proper shielding is utilized for both patient and staff safety.
- Maintain a basic understanding of hemodynamics and a strong working knowledge of vascular anatomy.
- Work within a sterile environment and maintain competence in the use of all equipment and supplies relevant to the Cath Lab.
- Be on call status with a 30-minute response time.
