As a new team member, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a new, state of the art heart hospital designed with one purpose in mind: delivering world class, patient entered cardiovascular care. In anticipation of our opening, select roles will begin as early as Summer 2026, allowing you to complete comprehensive orientation and training at our nationally recognized Baylor Scott & White Heart Hospitals. This immersive experience ensures you are fully prepared, aligned with our culture, and equipped with the highest standards of clinical excellence before the Frisco campus opens.

Requirements

Grad of an Accredited Program or (2) two years of work experience above the minimum qualification
Nursing
(2) Two Years of Experience
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered Nurse (RN)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) within (30) thirty days of hire.

Responsibilities

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional.
The RN uses the BSWH nursing model to coordinate patient care.
Using the nursing process, the RN assesses the patient and identifies nursing diagnoses.
The RN develops and implements an individualized care plan and evaluates the patient's response.
The RN promotes safe passage for patients by using knowledge of patient needs.
The RN helps patients transition through healthcare without preventable complications or delays.
The RN delegates interventions to healthcare personnel based on the Texas Nursing Practice Act.
Delegation also considers each patient's condition and the employee's competencies.
Using clinical reasoning, conducts accurate assessments according to standards.
Identifies and prioritizes patient and family needs.
Develops, implements, and evaluates the nursing care plan.
Modifies the plan to meet outcomes.
Evaluates nursing practice quality and effectiveness, including nursing indicators.
Supports evidence-based practice changes through research and learning.
Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
Creates an attentive, helpful, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
Develops therapeutic relationships with patients and families and maintains appropriate boundaries.
Manages emotional and physical pain to promote relief and healing and prevent unnecessary suffering.
