About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a full-time Invasive Cardiology RN for their Cath Lab. This position involves caring for Adult Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Vascular patients. The role operates on a 4/10 hour day shift schedule and requires the nurse to be within a 30-minute call radius, with call duties including one day a week and one weekend every six weeks. The Cath Lab team consists of RNs and Rad Techs working in 3-4 person teams to manage procedural patient care, collaborating with proceduralists and anesthesia providers. The facility has 5 total invasive cardiology labs, including 2 electrophysiology labs. Requirements
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- RN License
- Minimum 2 years of high-level Cardiovascular ICU/CVICU and/or Cath Lab RN experience. ER candidates with minimum 2 years of level I Trauma experience will be considered.
- 1 Year of recent Critical Care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain with (30) thirty days of hire or transfer
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or obtain with (30) thirty days of hire or transfer
Responsibilities
- Manage procedural patient care in the Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, and Vascular Lab.
- Collaborate with proceduralists and anesthesia providers.
- Provide care for Adult Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Vascular patients.
- Participate in on-call duties, including one day a week and one weekend every six weeks.
- Maintain a 30-minute call radius.
