About The Position

Plans for and supervises the daily activities of Cardiovascular Services Department; works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and/or an accredited school of radiology and/or Cardiovascular Technologist
• 2 years in Cardiac Catheterization and Special Procedures Lab
• Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse or ARRT, ACVT
• Cardiovascular Technologist must be certified Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• BLS required for RN, ARRT, ACVT - Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
• AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors Degree in related field
• 1 year management experience
• Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) for Cardiovascular Technologist
