Requirements

Graduate of Registered Nurse (RN) Required or Graduate of Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required or Graduate of Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Required
4 years of Cath Lab Tech Experience Required
Current Georgia RN license Upon Hire Required or RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist RCIS or RCES Upon Hire Required or RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required
BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
ACLS Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

Assists the physician in the performance of invasive advanced cardiac procedures.
Has thorough knowledge of all Cath/EP Lab Equipment and maintenance of it.
Administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures and provide sedation for patients.
Serves as subject matter expert in challenging and difficult cases by providing guidance to fellow Cath lab/EP lab techs in the proper operation of equipment and procedures used in the Catheterization Laboratory.
Must be able to perform a combination of higher-level work such as Cath, EP, and/or Vascular.
