About The Position
The Cath Lab/Cardiovascular Technologist works under the general direction of a physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular lab. Duties include scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, preparing the procedure room, monitoring instrument and supply levels, and assisting with invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures. The role also participates in staff meetings, performance improvement activities, and training new staff.
Requirements
- ARRT-R certification and state-required license, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
- At least one year of previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab.
- BCLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and maintained as current.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities
