Cath Lab Angiography Technologist - X-Ray (Emanuel Medical Center)
About The Position
As an Angiography Technologist, you will apply your skills in medical imaging to provide exceptional patient care. This role is situated in a brand new Cath Lab at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, designed to optimally serve patients and employees with new equipment and an ideal layout. The position involves performing imaging procedures according to physician’s orders, extending professional, expert care to patients. Requirements
- Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology school or program.
- Level II - 1-year of previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization, ACLS, BLS, applicable state LRT and ARRT-R required.
- You must demonstrate proficiency in the operation of Emanuel Cath Lab x-ray table equipment and demonstrate knowledge of Emanuel Cath Lab product inventory.
- Level III - 2-years previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization is required.
- Current applicable state LRT, ARRT-R, and ACLS is required.
- Current American Heart Association BLS is also required.
- Level IV - 3-years of previous experience in the field of Angiography/ Catheterization required.
- You must demonstrate expert proficiency in the operation of Emanuel Cath Lab x-ray table and equipment and demonstrate expert knowledge of Emanuel Cath Lab product inventory.
- Current applicable state licensure for Radiological Technologist (LRT) required.
- Current national registration in Radiography (ARRT-R) required.
- BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Association required.
- ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required - Levels II, III and IV.
- ACLS required for Level I within six months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Level I - One-year previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization preferred.
- RCIS, CI, VI is preferred - Levels I, II and III.
Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures according to physician's orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment in regard to exposure factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment.
- Provide the highest quality care using the most advanced technologies for diagnosis and treatment in our Cardiovascular (Cath Lab) and Hybrid labs located at Emanuel Medical Center.
