Alongside a manager who will help coordinate and lead operations, you’ll help oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and help where needed. The Catering Supervisor is also responsible for assisting management with administrative tasks including, but not limited to, ordering, data entry, filing, interacting with guests, visitors, and employees in a professional and cheerful manner. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Requirements

  • Catering experience strongly preferred.
  • Administrative experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must be Serve Safe Certified within 6 months of employment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong digital literacy is required of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) Internet, typing, other databases and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the Conference Center's scheduling system to manage and track catering events and logistics.
  • Serves as day to day point of contact for clients, professionally addressing inquiries and accommodating requests throughout the event planning process.
  • Collaborates with the Conference Center team to align catering operations with facility schedules, event setups, and client expectations.
  • Partners with the Conference Center leadership in pre and post event meetings to support seamless execution and continuous service improvement.
  • Maintains food safety and sanitation expectations according to health and safety regulations and internal policy.
  • Assists with inventory management.
  • Trains and mentors catering service workers in preparation for scheduled events.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, machinery, and technology systems, and software such as voicemail systems, copy/scanners, computers, and MS Office.
  • Other duties as assigned including, but not limited to attending meetings, delivering food product, working on service line as necessary.
