About The Position

We are seeking reliable and motivated Back of House Catering Staff to support our kitchen and food preparation operations during weddings, formal dinners, and special events. In this role, you will assist with food prep, plating, kitchen organization, and event execution to ensure meals are prepared efficiently and presented to a high standard. Event dates and availability needs will be communicated in advance. Opportunities to cross-train and pick up additional Food & Beverage shifts may be available.

Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with kitchen and event staff.
• Strong work ethic and ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to food quality, cleanliness, and organization.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in a kitchen environment that may include heat, noise, and fast-paced service periods.
• A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Previous kitchen, catering, banquet, or restaurant back-of-house experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks according to recipes and event menus.
• Support chefs and kitchen leads with plating and assembling dishes for banquet and catering service.
• Maintain organized and stocked prep stations throughout events and service periods.
• Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food during events.
• Help with loading, transporting, and organizing food, supplies, and equipment for catering events.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, prep areas, equipment, and dishwashing stations.
• Assist with event breakdown, including cleaning kitchen areas, storing equipment, and properly handling leftover food.
• Support overall kitchen operations to ensure events run smoothly and efficiently.
