About The Position

Organize and execute California Chicken Café's wide variety of catering options to ensure excellence in our most powerful marketing tool. This role involves maintaining a positive and friendly work environment, coordinating deliveries, taking orders, and ensuring exceptional hospitality for our guests. The Catering Specialist will also handle guest orders using the POS system, assist with drive-up service, and maintain a clean and stocked restaurant.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire
• Speak, read, and write English fluently
• Pass Food Handler course and test in compliance with CA state law requirements
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Perform duties that require standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, twisting, climbing, lifting/carrying (up to 25 lbs. individually), constant gripping/grasping, and moving throughout the restaurant for 4-10 hours per shift, up to 6 shifts per week

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and friendly work environment while adhering and applying the company’s core values
• Responsible for staging, reviewing and handing off catering orders to drivers/guest
• Assist in coordinating deliveries using the delivery dispatching platform
• Planning, reviewing, and coordinating next day catering orders
• Taking catering orders and inquiries via phone or walk up
• Delivery catering orders if needed using company and/or personal vehicle
• Following up with catering guests daily
• Deliver exceptional hospitality to our guests
• Take guest orders and handle payments using the POS system
• Direct, greet and assist guests in the Drive-Up Service as well as deliver food to guests’ vehicles
• Greet guests with moments of humanity upon arrival
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and properly stocked restaurant
• Strong communication regarding any issues with food quality, equipment, and work environment
• Read and adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
