This position is responsible for completing the final breakdown of functions by cleaning the room, and cleaning and returning equipment to its proper location. The role also involves completing closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, locking doors, and breaking down goods. Additionally, the attendant will set up, stock, and maintain work areas, monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas. Responsibilities include transporting dirty linen to the correct area for cleaning, separating napkins from tablecloths, and restocking linen shelves with clean linens. The attendant must maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures, and assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests. The role requires adherence to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions, and completing safety training and certifications. Uniform and personal appearance must be clean and professional, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets. The attendant must welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communication should be clear and professional, supporting team goals and ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards. The role involves reading and visually verifying information, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects of various weights. Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination are necessary for manipulating objects. The attendant must be able to move over various surfaces and perform reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping motions. Other reasonable job duties may be requested.
