About The Position

McMenamins Kennedy School is hiring for a Catering Server! This role is responsible for providing an enjoyable experience for all guests and customers during privately catered and public events. Duties include setting up, running, and breaking down events, from small business meetings to large groups with full meals. This involves setting up tables, chairs, bars, and AV equipment; serving food (fine dining to buffet style); pouring and serving beverages; waiting on and bussing tables; checking IDs for alcohol purchases; coffee and water service; resetting event spaces; restocking supplies; washing dishes; general cleaning; and attending to customer needs and relations. Catering servers must be available to answer questions and assist customers and guests. This position requires mental agility and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

Must be 21+
Obtain and maintain a current food handlers’ card
Obtain and maintain a current OLCC card
Enjoy working in a busy customer service-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

Previous related experience is preferred
Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred
