About The Position

The Catering Server is responsible for serving food and beverage products to preferred guests in the venue during events. Ensures quality of food presentation. Must be familiar with and follow all state and company alcohol service policies. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy. This position is for the Pacific Amphitheatre. This role will pay an hourly wage of $17.00-$20.00 This is a seasonal role from June 18, 2026 and will end on September 30, 2026. This position will remain open until August 28, 2026.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid California Food Handler Certificate as required by State Law.
• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests while fostering a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and event-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months of experience in the food service industry preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for serving food and beverage products to preferred guests in the venue during events.
• Responsible for serving meals to guests or directing guests to the buffet line.
• Responsible for refilling salt, pepper, sugar, cream, condiments, and napkins.
• Responsible for replacing tableware and linens as necessary.
• Responsible for observing guests to respond to any additional requests.
• Recommends certain menu items and identifies ingredients or explains how various items on the menu are prepared.
• Assists in setting up functions including linens, dishware, glassware, and silverware.
• Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• Show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
