About The Position

The Busser is a crucial member of the restaurant's service team, responsible for assisting the servers at all times, delivering food and drink orders to customers seated, and bussing and cleaning tables as guests finish eating. Working closely with the servers and kitchen staff, the Busser plays a key supporting role in ensuring a positive dining experience for customers. This role will pay an hourly wage of $16.90 - $17.90. This is a seasonal role from June 25, 2026, and will end on September 30, 2026. This position will remain open until August 28, 2026.

Requirements

Ability to lift and carry food trays or plates and navigate outdoor spaces comfortably.
Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with customers and effectively relay information to team members.

Responsibilities

Collect prepared food items from the kitchen and ensure their safe transportation to seating areas.
Verify that the food being delivered matches the order details, paying attention to special requests, allergies, or dietary restrictions.
Deliver food promptly to customers while it is still fresh and hot, ensuring that they receive their orders in a timely manner.
Assist picking up drink orders at the bar and delivering them to the guest.
Set up tables with clean utensils and condiments before guests arrive.
Clear and reset tables promptly after customers have finished dining.
Ensure tables are properly arranged and presentable for the next guests.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the outdoor dining area, clearing empty plates, utensils, and other waste from tables when necessary.
Collaborate with the kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, and other restaurant personnel to ensure smooth and coordinated service.
Regularly check and clean dining tables, chairs, and surrounding areas to maintain cleanliness and a neat appearance.
Empty and clean garbage cans before, during, and after each shift.
Wipe down tables and clean debris around the dining area and sitting guests.
Assist with general cleaning tasks as needed, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware and the bar.
Collect all recyclable garbage disposables and place them in assigned garbage.
Assist in maintaining an adequate supply of disposable plates, containers, and utensils.
